Hotel Aurora near Brixen in Italy
Perfect place for family holidays in summer and winter
It is not always easy to keep both adults and children happy on holiday: the kids want fun and action, while adults often just long for peace and relaxation. A holiday at Hotel Aurora is ideal for combining these two elements.
Fun and relax at the pool
The Acquarena in Brixen offers something for everyone: with its giant slide, counter-current pool and large wellness area this water world is a highlight for the whole family – 365 days a year.
A must for all snowboarders and freestylers is the Funpark Plose and its breath taking views, all at an altitude of 2300 metres above sea level. The snowpark offers kickers, table tops, rollers, rails, funboxes and other highlights for both beginners and experienced freestylers over a length of one kilometre. For freestylers there are 10 jumps of all shapes and sizes on the Easy Line and the Pro Line.
Kinderland children’s area on the Plose mountain
The Kinderland children’s area near the bottom station is ideal for very young children learning to ski. Here they can have fun in the snow and try out skiing for the first time. There are two “Magic Carpets” to bring the little ones back to the top of the gentle slope, while dedicated ski instructors look after them and make sure they all have fun while learning, including how to use the lifts.
Tobogganing on the Rudi Run
At over 10 kilometres in length, the Rudi Run is South Tyrol's longest natural toboggan run. It is divided into two sections. The easy run means that all the family can enjoy tobogganing, while those looking for a special experience can try night-time tobogganing on Friday evenings.
Wild downhill runs
The Alpine Coaster at the top station of the Klausberg mountain is the longest and most spectacular Alpine switchback in Italy. Adrenalin rushes are guaranteed at up to 40 km/h through the snowy landscape, all over a distance of 1800 metres! The simple braking system allows everyone to set their speed: push the lever forward to go faster, pull it back to brake.
